I regret making Anim Addo a shareholder of Young Apostles – President Oppong Domfeh

President of Ghanaian Division One side Young Apostles FC, Peter Oppong Domfeh, has made startling revelations about his soured relationship with football administrator Samuel Anim Addo, calling his decision to make him a shareholder in the club “the biggest mistake” of his life.

Speaking candidly in an interview on Promise Highway Sports, Domfeh opened up about how his close ties with Anim Addo ultimately led to deep personal and financial loss, including conflicts within his own family.

“The biggest mistake I’ve made in life was making Samuel Anim Addo a shareholder of Young Apostles. I ended up falling out with several members of my own family because of him,” Domfeh disclosed.

According to him, the relationship started on a positive note, rooted in trust and brotherhood.

He revealed that he had entrusted Anim Addo with key responsibilities, even granting him full access to his foreign financial accounts.

“I took him as my brother, and I regret leaving my assets to him to manage. He was the only person who had access to my Euro Account,” he said.

Domfeh claimed that despite having access to significant financial resources, Anim Addo failed to support the club when it mattered most.

“It came to a point where I needed money to finance the club, but he couldn’t bring a penny. He squandered all my money,” he lamented.

Meanwhile, Domfeh maintains that despite the setback, he remains committed to the growth of Young Apostles FC and is determined to steer the club forward, with or without those he once called allies.
