After losing the NPP Parliamentary candidature to the incumbent MP in 2016, Mr. Stephen Amoah still has the dream to serve the people of Nhyiaeso selflessly.

Speaking with Nana Jantuah on Oyerepa Breakfast Show on Thursday, May 14, 2020, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate Aspirant shared the same thought with the Honourable MP for Asawasi Constituency, Muntaka Mubarak, that children be allowed to marry at the age of 16, should they get pregnant at that age, although he believed 18yrs would be better.

“You cannot impregnate someone’s daughter at the age of 16 and say you cannot marry her… a law must be passed for people who impregnate girls at the age of 16 to marry them as well, ” Mr. Stephen Amoah opined.

He also called for the minimum wage to be enforced. He said, “Environment is created for leadership and relief… we must have a very strong social and systems in place to help ensure adherence to measures.”

The CEO of MASLOC was of the view that society needs more legal protection and tools.
He stated that about 90% of Africans, for that matter Ghanaians, who keep talking about the need for Africans to rise above mediocrity is for their personal interest.

“If we don’t commit ourselves to build our own society, things wouldn’t change… we don’t have such commitment, both NDC and NPP, ” the MASLOC CEO told Nana Jantuah.
He further added that segments within our society need to change to reshape our fortunes.

He wondered why Ghana still import used wood products but then advise that through collective efforts, we can change the narrative.

“You can never develop if we don’t change the narrative through collective efforts.
