At the commissioning of LISAG Villa in Accra, President Dr. Samuel Larbi-Darko stated that unqualified individuals often conduct surveys and provide wrong services, leading to attacks on genuine surveyors.

Dr. Larbi-Darko explained that LISAG acquired the villa to rent it out and support their welfare initiatives, as well as provide a meeting space for members.

He highlighted the importance of licensed surveyors in demarcating and mapping boundaries for registration, and assisting government in boundary demarcation and surveillance.

He emphasized that surveyors play a crucial role in location-based applications, including infrastructure development, and urged land owners to use qualified professionals to avoid court cases arising from indeterminate boundaries and improper surveys.

The LISAG Villa can accommodate about 300 people for meetings, conferences, and events.
