2024 Polls: NPP can’t ‘break the 8’ without Kennedy Agyapong – Chairman Amankwah

The survey, released in January 2026, places Agyapong firmly in the lead with 52.0 per cent support among NPP delegates.

This performance consistently reflects an advantage across successive survey phases. He polled 51.4 per cent in July 2025, climbed to 53.1 per cent in October 2025, and currently stands at 52.0 per cent in the most recent findings.

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains second in the race, securing 40.0 per cent support in the January 2026 survey. While this represents a modest improvement from the 39.0 per cent recorded in October 2025, it is still below the 42.2 per cent he achieved in the July 2025 poll.

The other aspirants continue to trail significantly. Dr Bryan Acheampong has recorded steady gains, increasing from 3.1 per cent in July 2025 to 5.0 per cent in October, and rising further to 7.0 per cent in the latest survey.

In contrast, support for Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has declined sharply, dropping from 3.0 per cent in July 2025 to 2.0 per cent in October, and falling further to just 0.7 per cent in January 2026.

Ing. Kwabena Agyepong continues to register minimal support, polling 0.3 per cent in both July 2025 and January 2026, with a brief uptick to 0.9 per cent recorded in October 2025.
