Emmanuel Adotey Allotey, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga Central, has reaffirmed his commitment to addressing pressing issues affecting the municipality.
Speaking at the 69th Independence Day parade in Auntie Eku, he pledged to boost local businesses, improve infrastructure, empower youth with skills, and support farmers to enhance agriculture.
To promote education, Hon. Allotey promised to support BECE candidates who achieve Aggregate 6 with GHC 10,000 to further their education. “This is to motivate the children to do well in terms of municipal education is concerned,” he said.
The MCE emphasized his dedication to working tirelessly to address issues affecting residents and finding solutions together.
Elder Emmanuel Tobbin, Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency, urged students to take their education seriously, avoid negative influences, and cultivate discipline and hard work.
In his address, Elder Tobbin emphasized that the future of the nation lies in the hands of the youth, and it is crucial they stay focused and avoid any negative influences.

Mr. Ibrahim Mumuni, Municipal Director of Education, also encouraged teachers to remain committed, professional, and passionate about their noble profession.
He also urged parents and guardians to take responsibility for their children’s education, monitor their learning, and instill values of discipline, emphasizing that education is a shared responsibility.
