Kumawu MP Donates Motorbike to Sekyere Police Station to Boost Security
Kumawu MP, Mr Ernest Yaw Anim, has donated a brand-new motorbike to the Sekyere Police Station to help strengthen security and improve law enforcement operations within the constituency.
The presentation, made on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, forms part of the MP’s continued efforts to support the Ghana Police Service and enhance community protection.
Speaking at the brief handover ceremony, Anim explained that the gesture was prompted by the persistent mobility challenges facing the police, which often hinder effective patrols and slow their response to emergencies, especially in remote communities.
He stressed that providing the police with reliable means of transportation is crucial for maintaining law and order across the constituency.
He added that the motorbike will improve patrol efficiency, allow faster response times, and support broader crime prevention efforts. He also urged the police to ensure proper use and maintenance of the motorbike to prolong its lifespan.
Police officials at the Sekyere Station expressed profound gratitude to the MP for the timely support. They highlighted the donation as a major boost to their operations, especially as population growth and expanding communities continue to stretch their limited resources.
They assured the MP that the motorbike would be used responsibly to enhance security in the area.
