A tragic collision between a tanker and a mini-passenger bus (trotro) occurred during rush hour on the evening of Monday, February 5, 2024, on the Amasaman-Nsawam road.

According to reports, the trotro was crushed by the tanker, resulting in a fatal incident where it is believed that all passengers on board the trotro lost their lives.

Disturbing images shared from the accident scene depicted the bodies of the victims scattered on the road, causing sorrow among eyewitnesses.

Additional videos revealed members of the Motor Transport and Traffic Department of the Ghana Police Service present at the accident site.

The accident took place near the China Mall area of the Amasaman-Nsawam Road.
