The Central Planning Committee, consisting of family and friends of the late John Okafor, fondly known as Mr. Ibu, has revealed the funeral program for the esteemed actor.

According to an online poster, the burial is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, June 25, to Thursday, June 30.

In addition, a series of events have been planned to commemorate his legacy.

The funeral poster also states that the burial committee is requesting financial contributions from well-wishers to ensure a respectful farewell for the beloved Nollywood icon.

Further information about the funeral arrangements will be shared in the near future.

Mr. Ibu, who was 62 years old, fought a long illness that unfortunately resulted in his passing after a year of repeated hospitalizations.

Wednesday, June 26: NIGHT OF TRIBUTE (Life and Time of Mr. Ibu)

Thursday, June 27: Wake-keep at his hometown, Amurri Nkanu West LGA Enugu State

Friday, June 28: Burial Ceremony

Sunday, June 30: Thanksgiving Service
