2022 FIFA World Cup: Asamoah Gyan composes ‘anthem’ for tournament
Retired Ghana Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, will be absent from Qatar for the FIFA World Cup, but he has added to the excitement by releasing a song he has titled the tournament’s anthem.
The song was produced by the Odo Pa crooner to garner support for the Black Stars, who are in a group of death.
They will begin their contest on November 24 against Portugal, followed by games against South Korea and Uruguay.
The World Cup song by Asamoah Gyan is a remix of Kiaani’s Turn Up. It’s Asamoah Gyan’s second partnership with Kiaani, after “Ungrateful.”

The 36-year-old had planned to attend the World Cup in Qatar, but his present state rendered that impossible. He hasn’t competed in football in over a year.
